Staple items in my bag this Summer!

Ray-Ban: Icons 53mm Retro Sunglasses

Since I obviously live in these sunglasses (as you can see all over my Instagram page), I’m sure it comes as no surprise that these shades are always present in my handbag! These sunnies are the perfect final touch to any ensemble, and elevate any look! I love the versatility of these sunglasses; they are perfect for a day at the beach, or for a classy Sunday brunch, which is why I always have them on hand! I bought mine from Nordstrom, retailing for $153.00. Check out my LiketoKnow.it page (link on home page) for a link to these exact sunglasses.

Invisibobbles

Although this is an item I always have on me, it was not something I discovered on my own. I was gifted these hair rings in a secret Santa gift exchange last December and was hooked just after the first use! I work out about 5 days a week, and was running into the issue that once my hair went up that night for the gym, I was left with a harsh crease on my hair. Now I’m sure this doesn’t sound like too big of an issue to some of you who are reading this. However, have you ever had plans to go out after a work out? And are held up by a giant crease indented into your hair? I’m also one to wash my hair at night, and then style it the next morning for work. I typically sleep with my hair up in one of these Invisibobbles, leaving it creaseless and ready for styling the next day.  These Traceless Hair Rings have made life a million times more convenient! They come in a variety of shades for all hair colors, and are super affordable; a pack of 3 will only set you back $8.00.

Kopari Beauty Coconut Lip Glossy

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff!! Have I mentioned I love this stuff? I used to be a big advocate for Burt’s Bee’s Beeswax Lip Balm, but after using this Kopari product for the first time just a moth ago, THERE WAS ABSOLUTLEY NO GOING BACK! As with everything on the Kopri line, this product is clean. This gloss is petroleum free, cruelty free, silicone free, non-GMO, and vegan! It is not at all sticky, which is a big turn off for me when trying out glosses! Since this Lip Glossy is in fact coconut oil, it leaves lips feeling silky and full of moisture for hours. It can be purchased in three fun colors: Sangria (sheer red-wine), Pikini (sheer bright pink), and clear (a glossy shine). I personally have only used the clear gloss, as I am not the biggest fan of a bold lip. I like to keep it simple when it comes to my everyday face of make up, and this gloss definitely contributes to that!
